Terms and Conditions

These terms of sale apply to all goods supplied by Online-Cables Ltd No. 06596883 registered in England refered to from now on as the Seller. Online-Cables Ltd, 22 Steeple View, March, PE15 9QH, UK. Email: elec-cables@hotmail.co.uk.
Any order placed by you for goods advertised on our website is an offer by you to purchase the goods selected in your order. No contract exists between The Seller and the Buyer (you) for the sale of any goods until the Seller has received the order and accepted it (which the Seller may do at its discretion or not in the event that, after the Seller accepts order, discovers that the goods ordered are unavailable or that there was a pricing error on our website in respect of the goods ordered).
The Supplier may change these terms of sale without notice to you in relation to future sales.
There will be no delivery until cleared funds are received. The goods you order will be delivered to the address given by the Buyer when the order is placed, no deliveries will be made outside the United Kingdom.
Time of Delivery shall not be the essence and any delivery period quoted is an estimate only and commences from the Seller’s acknowledgement of the Buyer’s Order. While every effort will be made to despatch goods within 24 hours no liability will be accepted for delay or failure to deliver from any cause.
The Buyer must notify the Seller and the Carrier in writing in case of: - non-delivery within 7 days of Order. - damage or shortage within 2 days of receipt. Damaged goods and packing must be retained for inspection. Buyer shall quote the Invoice/Order document number in any correspondence.
All merchandise supplied by the Seller is supplied strictly upon terms that the property in such merchandise and the title there to does not pass to the Buyer (whether or not he has taken delivery of the goods or any part thereof) until the Seller has received in cash or cleared funds payment in full of the price of the merchandise and of all other merchandise agreed to be sold by the Seller to the Buyer and until such time as the property in the merchandise passes to the Buyer he shall ensure the good condition of such merchandise.
The time for payment shall be the essence of the contract. The Seller reserves the right to charge interest before and after any judgment at 2% per month on any sum outstanding after the due date. Payment shall not be withheld on account of any claim by the Buyer against the Seller. The Seller reserves the right to suspend all or any new deliveries or to accept any new Orders, where payment for any Invoices has not been made by the due date and remains outstanding and in addition the Seller shall be entitled to claim damages from the Buyer.
The Seller guarantee at its entire discretion to replace or repair faulty goods, or refund the price paid at the Seller’s absolute discretion. Providing the goods have not been caused by misuse, neglect, method of storage, faulty installation, handling, testing or repair, or by alteration or accident. Without prejudice it is expressly agreed and understood by the Buyer that the Seller’s liability in respect of defective or otherwise non-merchantable goods shall under no circumstances whatsoever, extend beyond the price paid for such goods and the Seller shall not be liable for any damages whether direct or consequential to the Buyer, its employees, his customers, or to any third party, or any consequential loss or loss of profit in connection with any goods supplied.
The Seller shall have no liability in respect of delay or failure to deliver or in performance of any obligation under the contract due to any cause outside the Seller’s control.
The Buyer has the right to cancel the contract at any time up to 14 days after you receive the goods, the right of return excludes all tailor made cut-to-order cable cuttings. To exercise this right of cancellation, the Buyer must give written notice to the Seller by hand, post or email, giving details of the goods ordered and (where appropriate) their delivery. Notification by phone is not sufficient.
For all tailor made cut-to-order cable cuts we may consider returns if the Buyer exercise their right of cancellation after the goods have been shipped, the Buyer will be responsible for returning the goods to the Seller at the Buyer's cost (Buyer pays for return of goods), in all cases the postage cost to the Buyer are not refundable and all tailor made cut-to-order returns are subject to a handling fee of 25% as no two customers request the same cut size of the same cable type so we end up with unsellable off cuts for scrap. The goods must be returned to Online-Cables Ltd, 22 Steeple View, March, Cambs PE15 9QH. the Buyer must take reasonable care to ensure the goods are not damaged in the meantime or in transit.
All new goods supplied by the Seller are warranted free from defects. If new goods develop a defect during the 12 month warranty period, the Buyer should follow the Seller's Returns procedure (see above). In the event of a valid claim for a defect in the new goods, the Seller will (at its option) either: replace those goods or refund or re-credit the Buyer the sum paid for the relevant goods within 30 days of the date that the relevant goods are returned.
9. LAW:
Any question relating to any quotation or any contract subject to these conditions or agreed variations is subject to English Law.
The Seller will take all reasonable precautions to keep the details of the Buyer order and payment secure but unless the Seller is negligent, the Seller will not be liable for unauthorised access to information supplied by the Buyer.
